On Monday, February 6, the new academic period began at the Children's Orthopedic Hospital, where 4 first year residents, 4 second year residents, 6 national fellows and two international fellows were welcomed. Likewise, a group of 62 interns were received for different areas: 37 in Orthopedics and the remaining 25 distributed in the specialties of Nursing, Physiotherapy, Oral Dentistry and Hand Surgery.

Within the medical-educational activities that take place in the institution, recently took place the Clinical Meeting of Neurorthopedics, where they presented an interesting Scientific Conference entitled "What you should know about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy". Specialists from different areas, including Neuropediatrics, Genetics, Physiatry, Neurorthopedics and Physiotherapy, participated in this day, who with their presentations contributed with an excellent morning full of knowledge exchange and different points of approach to this pathology.
Continuing with the teaching activities at our institution, on February 3rd, the graduation of 11 specialist doctors took place. They graduated from different academic programs offered at the Pediatric Orthopedic Hospital in the area of Traumatology and Orthopedics.
In order to provide a comprehensive service to its patients, the Children's Orthopedic Hospital has incorporated new specialties, with a team of highly qualified professionals in different medical specialties.
